Angad Bedi recalls he bought a car loan for wife Neha Dhupia: Isse shaadi karni hai, paise toh nahi hai

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are amongst one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The couple is quite active on social media and constantly shares cute photos on their Instagram account. Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia tied the knot in May, 2018. They had an Anand Karaj ceremony. But, as love makes you do the impossible, the Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl actor also went to extremes to impress Neha. In an interview, Angad Bedi revealed he brought a car loan for Neha.

Speaking with Curly Tales, Angad recalled taking a car loan to impress Neha Dhupia. Bedi said that when he met Neha, he wondered how he would marry as he had no money. The actor revealed that he thought that Neha travels in a BMW and he would have to buy a luxury car for her to travel.

Angad Bedi said, “When I met her, I said, ‘Yaar, isse shaadi karni hai, paise toh hai nahi.’ I was like, ‘Yeh BMW mein ghoomti hai, at least ek gaadi toh thodi upar ki leni padegi.’ So I saved some money, got a loan and bought my first car just to impress her.”

Angad Bedi went on and shared that he had ‘made some more money’ after buying his car. After what Angad said, Neha reacted and mentioned that she was not impressed with him because of the car. She said, “It had nothing to do with the car, I promise you, and it had nothing to do with anything. It is just, when the time is right.”The Gunjan Saxena actor further explained how Neha was an actor and he had to match her level. He said that he could not make her travel in a DTC bus.

Meanwhile, Angad and Neha embraced parenthood after the birth of their daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. They welcomed their first child in November 2018. The couple was blessed with a second child in October 2021.
