Mohit Suri’s directorial ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ has hit the theaters today. The movie whose trailer had garnered much appreciation was slammed by the critics. The Emraan Hashmi – Vidya Balan starrer was produced by Mahesh Bhatt. The filmmaker known for his blunt statements slammed the critics for branding his film a failure.
‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ is a story quite close to Mahesh Bhatt’s heart, apparently it is a story based upon his mother, father and Step mothers life. An angry Mahesh Bhatt made a series of tweets hitting out against reviewers. He pointed out that it is the viewer that makes a film a hit not a reviewer.
Mahesh Bhatt tweeted,
If a film can not make its way into the hearts of the people without the nod of the rewiers than it simply means it has nothing in it.
