Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor-starrer film goes on floor. Deets INSIDE

Actor Anil Kapoor and daughter Sonam Kapoor are going to come together for the first time in a film. The real-life father-daughter jodi is to be seen in a film titled ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. The film goes on the floor from today and the shoot is currently happening in Patiala. About ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, it is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, sister of Vidhu Vinod Chopra who’s producing the film. Talking about Anil’s character in the film, Shelly said,”Anil is like a kid, extremely excited about his role. His character sports a look that hasn’t been seen on him in a long time. We will be shooting at a family house in Patiala, which is perfect setting for the film. I am shooting entirely at real locations as I want the film to develop as organically as possible. We can’t wait to start rolling now”.

For now, the film’s crew started shooting with Anil Kapoor as Sonam is busy with ‘PadMan’ promotions and will join the unit in coming days. The film will also see Juhi Chawla in leading role who will join the crew in the February schedule.

Interestingly, Anil will also team up with his son Harshvardhan Kapoor for a biopic based on the life of ace Indian shooter Abhinav Bindra who got India a gold medal in the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
