Anil Kapoor wishes wife Sunita on their anniversary: I can’t wait to spend the next 46 years with you!

Anil Kapoor is ageing backwards and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that he has stopped ageing at all. The ‘Jhakkas’ actor is one of the fittest and one of the most adored stars we have in Bollywood. Today, the ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ actor is celebrating his 35 years of marriage with wife Sunita. Making the occasion even more special, the 62-year-old actor shared a lovely post for his wife.

Anil loves his family dearly, and his wife is the centre of his universe. The actor shared a beautiful picture with wifey and expressed his gratitude for having her in his life. Anil thanked Sunita for the best 11 years of dating and 35 years of marriage.”I can’t wait to spend the next 46 with you! Happy Anniversary,” he wrote.

In Bollywood, there’s a notion that your career goes for a toss if you get married. And Anil had married Sunita very early in his career. When asked if he was ever discouraged from getting married so early in his career, he told Hindustan Times, “I was dissuaded, (people said) it was hara-kiri for me to get married. I came to a situation where I was at crossroads — career or love. I had started getting work, but everyone said ‘you are doing well, and your career has just started. You are climbing the ladder of success, and now that you are getting married, you are going to come down.’”

Anil further added, “I had to make a choice — either come down, or get married. I said I don’t mind coming down, but I will not sacrifice… she’s more important for me. It’s a fact, I am not faking it.”

Now, this is what true love feels like. Isn’t it? All of us should be thankful to this couple for restoring our faith in love.
