After half a decade of his Bollywood debut, actor Arjun Kapoor is finally set to appear in a film with his uncle Anil Kapoor. Filmmaker Anees Bazmee, who has comedy flicks like ‘Hulchul’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Welcome’ to his credit, will do the wonder and is bringing the chacha-bhatija duo together in ‘Mubarakan’.
During a recent conversation with a popular magazine, Arjun was quizzed about his first memory with his chachu, and he came up with a hilarious answer!

“My first memory is of him is digging into baingan bharta, rajma/chawal and chicken with me on the dining table and also eating off my plate,” he giggles.
Anil Kapoor is one of the few actors to have aged most gracefully. The unmatchable energy is visible in every word he speaks and every move he makes.
“He’s always been this energetic guy. Today they call Varun (Dhawan) and Ranveer (Singh) energetic. But Anil chachu has a controlled energy about him. ‘Mr. India’ is my first significant memory of him as an actor and then ‘Ram-Lakhan’. ‘Mr. India’ dekhe bina main khana nahin khata tha. Initially, it was difficult to understand whether I was really watching chachu or some star on screen. I was confused,” Arjun adds.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to see the uncle-nephew jodi on the big screen?
‘Mubarakan’ also stars Ileana D’cruz and Athiya Shetty, and is slated for a release on July 28 this year.
