EXCLUSIVE: Anil Kapoor’s old school romance with wife Sunita Kapoor will melt your heart, watch

Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor got married on May 19, 1984. The couple has three children, actors Sonam Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, and producer Rhea Kapoor. In Bollywood Bubble’s His Story Season 1, the JugJugg Jeeyo actor opened up about his love story with Sunita.

When asked what are the things he fights about with his wife Sunita Kapoor, Anil said, “You have your agreements, disagreements. You have your fights and then you make up. That’s what a healthy relationship is all about. If you really love each other, ultimately it’s love for each other that is paramount. So every big things become secondary and you just move on in life and just be happy and you forget about the fights. And I don’t believe what in carrying on the arguments or the fights as you call it beyond an hour.”

Anil and Sunita stood the test of time and they have been with each other for more than 48 years now. Talking about their love story, the actor said that it all began on the phone. They started with becoming friends, dated each other and then got married. He added, “It began on the phone and then we became close friends on phone (landline). And of course we met and fell in love and that’s where our love story began. It’s from friendship it began and we fell that we are very much compatible in every department and every way and as they say I believe in marriages are made in heaven.”

Anil was persistent in the beginning and he knew he would marry Sunita despite being a little difference between the two. On it, he said, “She managed it and hats off to her. I was the bad guy”.
