Anil Kapoor REACTS to being replaced in No Entry 2 and Welcome 3, says, “I don’t know the reason for it”

Anil Kapoor is all set to host Bigg Boss OTT season 3 and the promos have got us excited to see actor unleash this avatar. The announcement of the upcoming season took place in presence of the actor at a press conference held in Mumbai. During the event, the actor strongly reacted to claims of him replacing Salman Khan. Anil Kapoor also mentioned how getting replaced is a part of actor’s life and even he got that in 2 of his movies i.e. No Entry 2 and Welcome 3.

The actor strongly reacted to claims of him replacing Salman Khan and it is wrong to use the word. He stated, “He is irreplaceable and so am I. Everyone’s asking this question but it is very wrong. Nobody can replace Salman Khan. Similarly, nobody can replace Anil Kapoor. I spoke to him about it and he was excited that I’ve now taken over a non-fiction show. I wanted to do something different for a long time now. I’ve done many movies, judged shows but have never done anything like ‘Bigg Boss’, so I’m very excited for it.”

Calling Salman his younger brother and friend, Anil Kapoor said “replacement” was an incorrect term and that actors often get replaced for various reasons. “Everyone has work, sometimes for some reason one can’t do it or doesn’t have time to do it. Recently, I’ve been replaced. I don’t know the reason for getting replaced, but these things happen. Many people have replaced me, I’ve also replaced people. We are just doing a job, we should do it with a lot of sincerity and honesty,” he added.

On the work front, Anil Kapoor will next be seen in Suresh Triveni’s Subedaar. The actor plays the role of Subedaar Arjun Singh, who leads a civilian life while navigating his strained relationship with his daughter.
