Anil Kapoor reveals a surprising detail about his film with Aishwarya

After ages, we will get to see prolific stars like Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan uniting on the big screen. They have signed a film together called ‘Fanney Khan’ produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. This film will mark the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar.

Excitement level is high because Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai would be showing off their talent together after a really long time. Both of them had collaborated for films like ‘Taal’ and ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’ way back and were highly appreciated for their chemistry. But hold on! If you are thinking that Anil and Aishwarya will be seen showing off their romantic chemistry in ‘Fanney Khan’, then you are mistaken.

Anil Kapoor recently revealed to BollywoodLife that there is no romantic angle between him and Aishwarya in ‘Fanney Khan’. He has said, “Most exciting part is she (Aishwarya) is not opposite me. So that makes it different. Not that she was opposite me in ‘Taal’ she was opposite Akshaye Khanna. But there was a certain undercurrent of romance in ‘Taal’ and in ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’ she was my wife. So we both are strangers in the film, strangers who come together but there is no romance, which makes it exciting. That is the different part of our casting.” Disappointing a bit, isn’t it?

Talking about Anil Kapoor’s recently released film ‘Mubarakan’, with Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty and Ileana D’Cruz, it received mixed reviews from the audience.
