Thar trailer: Anil Kapoor and son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor starrer is all about ‘mysteries and mirages’

Actor Anil Kapoor and son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor are once coming together for a film and this time it is a Netflix thriller, titled Thar. The father and son duo had shared screen space with each other in AK vs AK, even though Harsh was seen in a cameo, Thar would be a full-fledged film for them. The makers of the film have now released the Thar trailer which looks quite intriguing. The trailer shows Anil Kapoor as a gritty cop who is on a mission whereas Harsh Varrdhan plays the role of an antique piece dealer.

Though the trailer shows very less information about the story, it is pretty established that Anil is on a mission to find a truth that is related to Harsh Varrdhan. There’s a mysterious side of him that keeps us hooked to the trailer whereas Anil is the one to unveil that side of him. Thar also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Mukti Mohan and Satish Kaushik.

Meanwhile, earlier, talking about working with his son, Anil Kapoor shared, “I love working with young and new talent and with Thar bringing onboard young actors and filmmakers it gives me a completely different perspective on films.”

Now, at the trailer launch, Anil said, “When we were shooting for Thar, I had one or two suggestions, but he rejected it. He did it in his own way, and he was right and I was wrong. I enjoyed working with him.”

Thar will release on Netflix on May 6. The desi western thriller set in the Thar desert of Rajasthan stars Anil as a cop and Harsh Varrdhan as a criminal.
