Here’s why Anil Kapoor is happy and proud of Sonam Kapoor

For a daughter, her father is a superhero, the first man she loves and the one she runs to whenever she’s in trouble. And when that man showers his daughter with praises, her happiness knows no bounds. When it comes to this equation and emotion, our Bollywood actors are no different. Anil Kapoor recently shared a post about Sonam Kapoor on Instagtam which is the sweetest thing a father can do for his daughter.

Sharing a collage of Sonam’s films, daddy Kapoor poured his heart out and wrote how proud he was of his daughter. “The choices we make shape our lives. @sonamkapoor you have made some pretty damn good ones when it comes to scripts, directors & content…Your hard work, commitment & conviction has resulted in 8 hits in a row! So happy & proud of you!,” he wrote along with the collage.

The collage includes eight of her hit films namely ‘Raanjhanaa’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Khoobsurat’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Neerja’, ‘Pad Man’, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ and the most recent one, ‘Sanju’.

Sonam replied to her dad’s post saying, “Dad only you would notice this love you.” Sonam’s husband, Anand Ahuja too commented on Anil’s post. He wrote, “Wowww! @sonamkapoor.”

Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will be coming together for a film for the first time. The two will share screen space in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ which is being directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. Also starring Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla and others, the film will release on October 12, 2018. The teaser of the film was recently released. You can watch it here.
