Anil Kapoor opens up on the special camaraderie he shares with son-in-law Anand Ahuja

Jhakkas actor Anil Kapoor recently got his elder daughter Sonam Kapoor married to her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja. The wedding was a grand affair that took place in Mumbai in May this year.

From the videos and pictures that surfaced from the wedding celebrations, one couldn’t stop noticing the happiness and joy Anil experienced. Unlike the typical fathers of the bride, the veteran actor was seen dancing his heart out during the sangeet ceremony. Perhaps the reason behind Anil’s happiness was the fact that his daughter was marrying someone who is perfect in every sense. Yes, Anil considers Anand Ahuja like a son and not as a son-in-law.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, when asked about his son-in-law Anand, the ‘Fanney Khan’ actor replied, “He’s not my son-in-law, he’s like my son… I’d say friend. We bond over health, fitness and loving our parents and family. He’s very work-oriented, so we talk about that. Of course, there are things that I learned from him, since he has travelled so much, has studied in one of the best universities.”

The actor also admitted that Anand gives him several fresh and innovative ideas when it comes to health. Anil even described Anand as a very deep and spiritual person and that’s the reason why they connect and relate to many things.

Now, with a son-in-law like Anand Ahuja which father wouldn’t be happy? Don’t you guys agree?
