Anil Kapoor talks about Sonam Kapoor’s baby boy: I am always there by his side

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed their first child, a baby boy, last month. The new parents are in a happy space. Anil, who is now a grandfather, recently opened up about his grandson. The actor said that wife Sunita and daughter Sonam take care of the latter’s son, but he is also by his side.

Anil told ETimes, “Nothing can be better than this feeling. I would like to say my dialogue (from Dil Dhadakne Do) – ‘I feel on top of the world’. I am busy wrapping up my assignments. There’s Sunita (his wife), Sonam and Anand, who are looking after the baby. I am always there by his side. It is great to see him every day. He’s so small right now, let him grow up a bit.”

Sonam and Anand had announced the birth of their son with a statement that read, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning, but we know our lives are forever changed – Sonam and Anand.”

Days after Sonam Kapoor welcomed her baby boy, Rhea had shared her nephew’s photos on Instagram. She did not reveal his face. She had captioned the photos as, “Rhea masi is not ok. The cuteness is too much. The moment is unreal. I love you @sonamkapoor the bravest mommy and @anandahuja the most loving dad. Special mention new nani @kapoor.sunita #mynephew #everydayphenomenal.”

On the work front, Sonam had appeared on Karan Johar’s popular chat show, Koffee With Karan 7 with Arjun Kapoor.
