Bollywood’s jhakaas actor Anil Kapoor recently celebrated his 62nd birthday. Can’t believe that right? Anil and the makers of his upcoming film ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga‘, celebrated his birthday by releasing a poster of the film along with a special preview of its trailer. Later at night, Anil hosted a birthday bash which was attended by his family and close friends.

Interestingly, Anil’s daughter Sonam Kapoor will be sharing screen space with him for the first time in her career in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. The trailer of the film was released just a few days back and received a great response from everyone. The film’s plotline revolves around the story of how love is beyond everything – caste, creed, race, age and even gender. Yes, you read that right. After a long time, we will be seeing a mainstream film based on same-sex relationship. In the film, Anil is playing the father of Sonam and it showcases how their bond changes after her secret is out.

Today, sharing a lovely picture (also his favourite) with Sonam from his birthday party, Anil wrote about how his daughter is making every day of his life phenomenal with her smile. Alongside the picture, Anil even used the hashtag ‘Happy Day’, ‘One for the Archives’ and ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’.
