Actor Anil Kapoor has wished his colleague, actress Meenakshi Sheshadri on her 59th birthday. Taking us on a trip down the memory lane, Kapoor shared a few old pictures of both from their films to wish her. In the first throwback pic, a young Anil can be seen holding Meenakshi dressed in red. Anil was in a white outfit. The other pictures are stills from their movies.

Anil and Meenakshi worked together in several films mostly in the 80s and 90s. They were seen in Meri Jung, Inteqam, Vijay, Love Marriage, Aag Se Khelenge, Joshilaay, Awaargi, Ghar Ho To Aisa, Humlaa and Amba among others . Meenakshi made her Bollywood debut with Painter Babu in 1983. She also starred in hit movies like Hero, Shahenshah, Damini, Ghatak, Ghayal, and Satyamev Jayate to name a few.
For the unversed, the actres got married to investment banker Harish Mysore in 1995 and moved to the US with him. She has two kids. She was recently seen in Indian Idol 13.
On the work front, Anil was last in JugJugg Jeeyo with Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani. He will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. He also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s gangster drama, Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol. The actor will also be seen in web series alongside Aditya Roy Kapur which is an official Hindi remake of the series The Night Manager.
