Animal has surpassed the opening day collection of Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva (Rs 36 crores) and Sanju (Rs 34.75 cr) emerging as Ranbir’s biggest opener of all time.
Rashmika Mandanna’s highest first-day grosser
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Animal also became Rashmika’s biggest opener. It has surpassed Pushpa (Rs 45.45 crores), Dear Comrade(Rs 11.90 Cr) and Geetha Govindam (Rs 16 crores) to achieve this feat.

It emerged as the 2nd biggest Bollywood opener of all time after Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which earned Rs 75 crore in all versions.

Animal has trumped Kabir Singh (Rs 20.21 crore) by a huge margin to become the biggest opener for an ‘A’ rated film. Interestingly, the latter was also directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Well, this also marks the director’s highest first day of all time.
4th Bollywood film to enter 100 crore on the opening day
Animal’s worldwide collection stands at Rs 116 crores. With this, it has become the 4th Bollywood film to over Rs 100 crore on its first day at the global box office followed by Pathaan (Rs 106 crore) and Jawan (Rs 129.06 crore), and Adipurush (Rs 136.83 crore).

Not only Bollywood, Animal has also become the 8th biggest Indian opener at the global box office. It is followed by RRR (Rs 223 crores), Baahubali 2 (Rs 217 crores), K.G.F. 2 (Rs 164 crores), Leo (Rs 148.5 cr), Adipurush (Rs 136.83 crore), Jawan (Rs 129.06 crore), Saaho (Rs 130 crores).
