Ankita Lokhande means business as Jhalkari Bai in this new still from ‘Manikarnika’

Kangana Ranaut is an actress, who is ballsy and totally fearless. The actress from Himachal Pradesh has time and again broken stereotypes and never shies away from any challenge. The ‘Queen’ actress’ new project ‘Manikarnika’ is about to release and Kangana is portraying the main protagonist i.e. Rani Laxmibai.

‘Manikarnika’, in all fairness, has faced quite a lot of hurdles and challenges during its shoot. The historical drama has seen lots of ups and downs and has had its fair share of controversies. The magnum opus saw director Krish pulling out citing work commitments and it also saw the exit of Sonu Sood due to scheduling issues and alleged creative differences.

Now, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the social media site Instagram and shared the still image of Ankita Lokhande. Ankita is playing the character of Jhalkari Bai in ‘Manikarnika’ and the image is deadly serious.

Ankita Lokhande used to be in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput and after her break-up, she has been totally focussing on her work.

‘Manikarnika’ talks about the valour and pride of Rani Laxmibai, who heroically has also been given the title of Queen of Jhansi. Rani Laxmibai fought the British and proved her patriotism in a brilliant way.

‘Manikarnika’ trailer will be releasing on December 18, 2018. The Kangana Ranaut starrer film is expected to hit the screens on January 25, 2019. And it will be a brilliant way to celebrate India’s Republic Day, which falls on January 26.
