Ankita Lokhande moved to tears as DID contestant pays tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput

Actress Ankita Lokhande will soon be seen gracing the sets of the popular dance reality show Dance India Dance. The actress will be accompanied by Pavitra Rishta fame actress Usha Nadkarni. The episode of DID is all about celebrating the spirit of relationships. One of the acts in the show was dedicated to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. During the performance, Ankita Lokhande was moved to tears.

The makers dropped a new promo of the episode in which contestant Sadhana Mishra and her choreographer performed on the track Kitni Baatein from the film Lakshya. During their performance, a few visuals of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput were also played in the background. Seeing that both Ankita and Usha became emotional.

In the video, an emotional Ankita Lokhande is heard saying, “Woh bohot close ek dost tha…sab kuch tha. Aur woh jaha bhi hai bohot khush hai I am sure. God bless him.”

For the unversed Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were in a relationship for a long time. The couple who met on the sets of their popular show Pavitra Rishta(2009) dated for almost six years before calling it quits. Their break up in 2016 left fans in shock. In 2020 June, Sushant was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai. He was 34. But he will also hold a special place in the hearts of his fans.
