The news also brought forward the incident in which Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual misconduct by a female employee from Phantom. Yesterday, the survivor spoke about the horrific incident once again and gave a tell-all interview to Huffington Post. As the survivor’s story came out again, everyone started to question why Anurag Kashyap didn’t do anything to help the survivor.

Now finally Anurag Kashyap has issued a statement on the breaking up of Phantom and also apologized to the survivor. He took to Twitter and posted a 2-page statement. In his statement, Kashyap said that he did everything in his capacity to help the victim. However, the contract of Phantom was such that they couldn’t take any action against Vikas Bahl. He further went on to say that it was him who broke the news to a leading tabloid and never refrained from exposing Vikas in his social circle. The company barred Vikas from its premises and took away his signing authorities as well.

He further added, “None of this takes away from the wrong that has been done and perhaps never will. I am better aware today to not allow ourselves to be in a similar place ever again. I am deeply, truly sorry to the woman in question and she has known this all this while. This will never happen again on my work premises ever again.”

We wonder what Vikas has to say about this whole issue. So far he has completely denied all the charges levelled against him by the women in question.
