Anubhav Sinha applauds Priyanka Chopra for her success; actress says, “Kill them with your work”

Priyanka Chopra recently grabbed headlines as she struck a multi-million dollar deal with Amazon Prime. The actress has become a global icon over the years and she is one of the most talked-about actresses in the glamour world. Like every other celebrity, Priyanka has had her share of struggles and recently filmmaker Anubhav Sinha applauded her for her hard work and success.

Anubhav took to his Twitter handle to share a tweet that read, “So @priyankachopra inks a multimillion-dollar first look deal with Amazon. This is what hard work on your own terms gets you. Global equity. Work hard, stand tall.” 

Alongside the tweet, the director wrote, “I am so reminded of a Bombay Time front-page article that wrote her off saying how NO ONE would touch her from a barge pole. Yeah… No one can….”

Speaking about Priyanka’s deal with Amazon Prime, the ‘Quantico’ actress took to her Instagram handle to share the great news with her fans. She wrote, “As both an actor and producer, I have always dreamt of an open canvas of creative talent coming together from all over the world to create great content irrespective of language and geography. This has always been the DNA of my production house Purple Pebble Pictures, and is the foundation of this exciting new endeavor with Amazon. ⁣⁣And as a storyteller, my quest is to constantly push myself to explore new ideas that not only entertain, but most importantly, open minds and perspectives. ⁣⁣Looking back on my 20 year career, nearly 60 films later, I hope that I’m on my way to achieving that. ⁣⁣(sic)”
