Anupam Kher bashes journalist for ‘unbelievably insensitive’ remarks about wife Kirron Kher

Actor Anupam Kher took to his social media on Friday and he bashed a journalist for ‘unbelievably insensitive’ remarks about wife Kirron Kher. The journalist implied that Anupam is ‘changing his colours’ because his wife Kirron ‘has been asked to vacate her plum seat in Chandigarh’ due to her illness. Kirron has been diagnosed with blood cancer and the New Amsterdam star had revealed the same on his Twitter account.

Anupam took to his Twitter handle and hit back at a tweet that read, “So here’s why #AnupamKher is apparently changing colours. It’s his wife #KirronKher’s illness. It seems she’s been asked to vacate her plum seat in Chandigarh and make room for someone else. So unfortunate, so #BJP”

Anupam wrote, “This is how people like @namratazakaria can stoop to any level of degradation. The lady is not only unbelievably insensitive about #Kirron’s illness, she also uses this situation to declare her fantasy like a vulture and without giving any proof of her claims. Shame on you.”

Earlier, informing about Kirron’s condition, Anupam had said, “Just so that rumours don’t get the better of a situation Sikandar and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.” The actor informed that his wife is currently undergoing treatment and they are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. Anupam also said that they are blessed that Kirron is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors, ” She’s always been a fighter and takes things head on.”
