Anupam Kher shares he’s still coming to terms with the loss of Satish Kaushik in an emotional video: It’s killing me

Actor Anupam Kher on Friday made an emotional video and spoke about dealing with the loss of his dear friend, Satish Kaushik. He opened up about coming to terms with the loss of his dear friend. The actor got emotional and expressed his grief. Kher also penned a short note and said he has decided to move on now.

Anupam Kher says losing Satish Kaushik is ‘tough’

In the video, the Uunchai actor said, “Main aap logon se iss liye baat kar raha hun kyunki I need to get rid of my sense of loss of my friend, Satish Kaushik. And, it’s killing me. Because, 45 saalon ki dosti hai woh gehri hoti hai. Ek aadat si hoti hai. Ek aisi aadat jisko aap chodna nahi chahte hai. Aur, woh jabse gaya hai, kabhi kabhi, aaj jaise main soch raha tha ke main kahan khana khaau, kya khayu ‘Arre Satish ko phone karta hun’ (I am speaking with you all because I need to get rid of my sense of loss of my friend, Satish Kaushik. And, it’s killing me. Because, with the 45 years of my friendship is deep. It is like a habit. A habit you don’t want to leave. Aur, since he’s gone, sometimes, I feel, I wonder what I want to eat ‘Arre let me call Satish’).”

He added, “I almost picked up the phone and I was about to dial. Aur, it’s tough. Because, 45 years is quite a bit of time to be with somebody.“

Kher also wrote a letter to his friend, in the caption. He wrote, “My dearest #SatishKaushik! You will always be part of my life….. But I need to move on…. In order to keep your memory alive…… Life has to be moved forward…. I am moving life forward my friend….. You will always be an important part of my life… #Friends #FriendShip #LifeGoesOn.”

As the news about Kaushik’s demise made headlines, the Uunchai actor took to his Twitter and mourned his friend’s demise. Read his tweet below:

On Thursday, Anupam Kher, who attended the funeral of Kaushik revealed that his friend had no such of a medical history.

Satish Kaushik passed away on March 8 in Gurugram. He suffered a heart attack. The actor-filmmaker was 66. It was Kher who confirmed the news of Kaushik’s death with Indian Express.
