Taking to his Twitter handle, Anupam Kher shared a behind the scenes video from the sets of his upcoming film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. In the video, we see the actor dressed as the former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh with German-born actor Suzanne Bernert who plays the role of former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. After that, Mr. Kher posted yet another video announcing the wrap of the film.
Anupam Kher is seen holding the clapboard and saying history will not misjudge the Prime Minister. Sharing the video, he wrote, “It is a WRAP for one of my most cherished films #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister. Thank you d cast and d crew for the most enriching times. ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ is based on the book by the same name by Sanjaya Baru, a former media advisor to the then PM Manmohan Singh. Akshaye Khanna plays Baru, and Divya Seth Shah plays Manmohan Singh’s wife Gursharan Kaur in the movie. It marks the debut of director Vijay Ratnakar Gutte. The film is set to hit the screens on December 21.
