Anupam Kher, Vidya Balan, Boney Kapoor and others attend Satish Kaushik’s prayer meet

Veteran actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away on 9^th March after suffering a heart attack. The actor suffered a heart attack while he was travelling in his car. Now, days after his death, Satish Kaushik’s family organized a prayer meet in Mumbai. Several celebrities including Anupam Kher, Vidya Balan, Maniesh Paul, Jackie Shroff among others attended Satish Kaushik’s prayer meet.

In a video shared by paparazzo on Instagram, Anupam can be seen holding late actor Satish Kaushik’s daughter Vanshika’s hand. Satish’s wife Shashi was also spotted along her daughter and Anupam Kher.

Anupam Kher was very close to Satish Kaushik. Earlier, Anupam paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor. He had shared a picture with Satish Kaushik on his Instagram along with the caption, “जानता हूँ “मृत्यु ही इस दुनिया का अंतिम सच है!” पर ये बात मैं जीते जी कभी अपने जिगरी दोस्त #SatishKaushik के बारे में लिखूँगा, ये मैंने सपने में भी नहीं सोचा था।45 साल की दोस्ती पर ऐसे अचानक पूर्णविराम !! Boney Kapoor, who also shared a good bond with Satish Kaushik, arrived for late actor’s prayer meet. Javed Akhtar, Supriya Pathak, Ramesh Taurani, and Sudhir Pandey were among few who attended the prayer meet.

Satish was one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. As a film actor, Satish appeared in movies like Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Ram Lakhan, and Saajan Chale Sasural among others. The late actor’s upcoming projects include Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Emergency, Patna Shukla, Kaagaz 2, and Guns and Gulaabs.
