Former PM Manmohan Singh hospitalised; Anupam Kher sends wishes for speedy recovery

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Sunday (May 10). While everyone is praying for his speedy recovery, actor Anupam Kher also took to his Twitter handle to show his concern for the former PM.

Amupam Kher tweeted, “मेरी प्रभु से प्रार्थना है कि पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री #मनमोहन_सिंह जी जल्दी ही पूर्ण रूप से स्वास्थ्य होकर अपने घर लौटें। Wishing former Prime Minister #DrManmohanSingh ji a very speedy recovery. ?”(sic).

Anupam Kher played the role of Manmohan Singh in the movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. Though the movie tanked at the box-office, Anupam Kher was raved for getting into the skin of Manmohan Singh’s character perfectly.

Talking about the former PM, he is stable and under observation now at the Cardiothoracic Centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). As per a report by PTI, sources said, “Dr Manmohan Singh was admitted for observation and investigation after he developed a febrile reaction to a new medication.”

We wish Manmohan Singh recovers and gets discharged from the hospital soon.
