Anurag Basu opens up on the cast of ‘Life In A Metro’s sequel

A lot has been spoken about Anurag Basu’s sequel of 2007 hit, ‘Life In A Metro’. Over the last few days, it was reported that ‘Ki and Ka’ stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor are reuniting for Basu’s project. Later names like Rajkummar Rao, Sidharth Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were also added. Finally, Anurag Basu has broken his silence and cleared the air about the cast of his next project.

In a recent tweet, the ace director wrote ‘Casting of an ensemble cast film can only be locked after securing combination dates of all the actors. Bohut mushkil kaam hai, sab ke calendars ek saal ke liye full hain. Aur mein ghode pe sawar hun. Will keep you posted. Final cast will be announced soon.’

‘Life In A Metro’ starring Kangana Ranaut, Dharmendra, Sharman Joshi, Shilpa Shetty and others, was a critically acclaimed one. But looks like fans who were excited about the second part will have to wait a little longer for the official announcement.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan after the super success of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ will next be seen in ‘Takht’ and ‘Good News’ while Arjun Kapoor has ‘Panipat’ and ‘Namaste England’ lined up.
