As many would know, a few days ago filmmaker Anurag Kashyap came out in support of Karan Johar’s soon to release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ through his Twitter handle. By posting a series of tweets, Anurag had questioned and indirectly raised a finger at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It didn’t take much time for these tweets to grab undue attention. On Tuesday, the ‘Ugly’ director took to his Facebook page sharing a post where he claimed that he did not asked the PM to apologise. Criticising media for playing with his statements, here’s what Anurag Kashyap expressed through this latest post.

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is facing protest from political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena that has threatened to vandalise the multiplexes if they dare to screen it. Whereas, the makers are now seeking help from Mumbai’s top police officials for the protection of theatres that will be screening it, as the film is slated to release on October 28.
