Anurag Kashyap and Kunal Kamra were denied entry to give Arnab Goswami the ‘Paragon Excellence in Journalism Award’

Anurag Kashyap is known for expressing his thoughts without any inhibitions. The filmmaker recently celebrated his birthday on September 10. And on the occasion of his special day, Anurag did something that made him pronounce it as ‘Best Birthday Ever’. Wondering what he did? Well, read on to find out.

On his birthday, Anurag along with stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra went to journalist Arnab Goswami’s office to hand him over “Paragon Excellence in Journalism Award’. However, the filmmaker was not allowed inside the office without permission.

Taking a jibe at the Arnab and his Republic TV channel, Anurag shared a picture from the former’s office premise and captioned it as, “Best birthday ever.. me and @kuna_kamra went to @republicworld to give Arnab the “Paragon excellence in journalism award” .. they said – not allowed without permission.. here is fantasising that “Republic follows what they preach”(sic).”
