Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has enthralled the audience with his stellar performances in various films. The actor has given us some great characters and hands down, he is one of the most versatile actors we have in Bollywood.
Now, Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat’s younger son Aditya Rawal is all set to make his Bollywood debut. And it is none other than Anurag Kashyap who is going to launch him in his film ‘Bamfaad’. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Anurag’s longtime assistant Ranjan Chandel will be making his directorial debut which will star Aditya Rawal and Telugu film actress Shalini Pandey in the lead roles.
Shalini has starred in the hit film ‘Arjun Reddy’. So with Anurag’s film, she will be making a foray into the Hindi film industry.

Anurag Kashyap told the tabloid that he is fully involved with the project with the producers Ajay Rai, Pradeep Kumar and Alan McAlex. Reportedly, ‘Bamfaad’ is a passionate love story set in Allahabad. In case, you are wondering about the film’s title’s meaning, then the director (explaining his choice of title) told the tabloid, “‘Bamfaad’ is a North Indian slang for an explosion and aptly describes the characters and their world.”
The film’s release date is yet to be finalised as it is currently in post-production. However, the makers are looking towards releasing it in the next few months.
Previously, Aditya has written plays and his first play ‘The Queen’ was staged in New York. The youngster had previously confessed that he loves writing as well as acting.
