Anurag Kashyap has invited a controversy again. Followed by Pakistani actors being banned in India, his Twitter post asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apologise for his Pakistan tour already brought him enough backlash. The filmmaker also came out in support of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Since then, various publications and channels have been trying to reach out to him but he never agreed to speak. This time, Kashyap chose to post a screenshot of his conversation with a female journalist, without blurring her name! “There is the media outside my house when I am not there ….looking for headline,” the caption read.
Like, really? Bringing out more information and clarification on an issue is part of a journalist’s job and the concerned lady was just doing her work. While we completely understand Kashyap must have been tired with him being misinterpreted and misquoted, this was surely not expected from his end!
