Anurag Kashyap terms Animal as ‘biggest gamechanger’ after watching it twice, calls Sandeep Reddy Vanga ‘most misunderstood, judged and reviled filmmaker’

Anurag Kashyap is a very well known filmmaker who never fails to impress his fans and followers with his craft. Well, the filmmaker recently met Animal director and was all praise over him. Not only this, he also revealed that he watched Animal twice. On Saturday, Anurag Kashyap took to his Instagram handle to share a bunch of pictures with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He also penned an unmissable note for him and Animal.

Sharing a few pictures on his Instagram handle, Anurag Kashyap wrote, “Had a great evening with @sandeepreddy.vanga . The most misunderstood, judged and reviled Filmaker at the moment . To me he is the most honest , vulnerable and a lovely person. I wanted to meet the man and I had questions and he answered every thing I asked of him about his film that I actually saw twice.”

He added, “Thank you for being patient and being yourself m. This is a person you can actually confront and talk to . Pls talk to him about the problems you have with the film . 40’days since i first saw ANIMAL and 22 days since I saw it the second time . The biggest game changer of Hindi cinema in the longest time and a film whose impact (good or bad) which can’t be denied . And the filmmaker who takes it all on his chin . Great evening spent with him.”

Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal carries a stellar cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri among others. Despite receiving mixed responses from the audience, Animal has crossed Rs.900 crores at the global box office.
