Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli NOT pregnant with second child? AB de Villiers says he made a ‘terrible mistake’ by giving ‘false information’

Rumours of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli expecting their first child has been making headlines for quite some time now. Earlier this month, former South African cricketer and Kohli’s friend, AB de Villiers confirmed Virat and Anushka’s pregnancy news. However, in a recent interview with Dainik Bhasker, AB de Villiers revealed he made a ‘terrible mistake’ by giving ‘false information’.

The cricketer said, “Family comes first, its priority, as I said on my YouTube show. I also made a terrible mistake at the same time – Sharing false information, which was not true at all.” He further mentioned that no one knows what is happening in Virat’s family but he also said that he wishes well for him.

He went on to add, “Whatever the reason is for this break, really hope that he comes back stronger and better and healthier and fresh and ready to take on the world again.”

Earlier, Kohli skipped two matches between India and England. Later, on his YouTube show, AB de Villiers assured fans that Kohli is doing fine. He then revealed, “Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, its family time and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people’s priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for that. Yes, we miss him. But he has made absolutely the right decision.”

Virat and Anushka tied the knot in 2017, and welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika, in 2021.
