A few days ago Anushka Sharma took it upon herself to publish an open letter and finally break silence to speak up about all the baseless allegations that were being put up against her, from Farokh Engineer accusing Indian cricket team selectors about getting tea for her to getting preferential treatment for being Virat Kohli’s wife.

Later, Farokh Engineer apologised for passing such comments by saying it all came out in a jest and it is being blown out of proportion.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in ‘Zero’ in which she starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The movie did not do well at the box office. Post that, the actress hasn’t signed any projects yet.
