Last night was a little disappointing for Indian cricket fans as India lost its opening match in the Super Four category against Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. While the whole match was quite nail-biting, running almost until the last ball, it was eventually the team from the neighboring nation that emerged victorious. However, even with the unfavourable result, there was a wave of joy amongst Indian fans as Virat Kohli, who had been struggling with his form for a while, scored a smashing half century. There were congratulations pouring in for the former captain from every corner of the nation, and even wife Anushka Sharma didn’t miss out on celebrating her husband’s achievement.

Along with the picture, without using any words, the actress just dropped a big red heart, denoting her love and pride for her husband. Seeing Virat get back in form has been a moment of pride for all the Indians, and surely it will be an inspiration for Anushka as well, who is currently shooting for her comeback film, Chakda Xpress, that sees her step into the shoes of a cricketer herself. The film in inspired by the life of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami and Anushka plays the protagonist in the film. Her prep videos and pictures, along with the glimpse that she recently shared from the sets of the film, has already piqued the audience’s interest for it. It will surely be exciting to see Anushka take on this role.
