Anushka Sharma to not talk about animal and festival related topics on social media

Anushka Sharma has always been a girl of principals and often shares her concern over certain topic on social media only to get trolled later.

The actress, who is an avid animal lover had also been encouraging Diwali without crackers for the street dogs, but was said to have been spoiling the festive spirit. This is the reason that Anushka has now decided to not take to social media, on animal or even festival related issues. Says an source, “Anushka is an animal lover and she has a pet dog. She has been campaigning for a noiseless Diwali because the loud noise of crackers scared animals. She would also caution people against throwing water balloons and applying colours on strays.”

“But then Anushka started getting trolled and drawing ire from them for being a festival grinch. Recently when she was asked to do a photo-feature with her ‘Phillauri’ costar Diljit Dosanjh for Holi, she refused to do it. She will continue to support the causes she feels for, not necessarily tweet about them,” adds the source.

But wasn’t she doing a good job? Well, we hope she continues to spread awareness.
