Salman Khan’s “raped woman” remark may have gotten overshadowed by the staggering success of ‘Sultan’, but the reactions to that remark are far from over. The latest actress to speak about her thoughts on the same is none other than his ‘Sultan’ co-star, Anushka Sharma.
In a recent interview, Anushka said that she is unaware about the exact happenings and was not present when he made the remark. But she didn’t deny the fact that the remark was indeed insensitive and she was surprised to discover about it. Here’s what she said to a daily, “I don’t know him at all. I have done one film with him and that’s the amount of interaction I’ve had with him. Salman is intimidating and he is not someone who would go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. He’s going to be himself and he’ll just do his thing. And I’m very shy as a person so I can’t bridge that gap either. We don’t have that kind of a equation where we have conversations.”
She further added that every person should have a certain sense of responsibility for their actions and words. She says she doesn’t really know Salman too closely and hence has no idea as to what must be running through his mind that time to say such a thing. Also, she doesn’t consider herself appropriate to judge his statement.
