Anushka Sharma to open an animal shelter and veterinary hospital in Shahapur

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma likes to live a very honest life and is not obsessed with stardom or power. The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress has a humane side to her and is also very spiritual. The lovely and gorgeous diva is also very fond of animals.

The ‘PK’ actress has been planning to open an animal shelter for a while now. The land that she had taken in Dahagaon village of Shahapur taluka has been stuck for the last three years. The land is in the name of Anushka Sharma and she holds all the rights of making an animal shelter. The project started in 2016 and now, it will finally be set up after facing several hiccups.

According to a report in tabloid Mid-Day, a source close to the actor said that Anushka now plans to build a veterinary hospital along with an animal shelter. When asked from her team, the spokesperson said, “We have no official comment to make as of now, regarding this.”

Anushka is heavily spiritual and follows the advice of her guruji quite often.

This gesture by Anushka Sharma is very moving and touching. On the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’. This feature film also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. However, ‘Zero’ tanked at the box-office despite huge expectations.
