Anushka Sharma reacts to a man being called ‘mad’ for rescuing a dog

Anushka Sharma is a huge lover of animals and we have seen that multiple times in the photos and videos she posts on her social media account. So when a man was deemed mad for saving a pup on the street, Anushka Sharma made sure to heap praises and stand up for him.

In a viral video, a man was seen arguing on the street after he was called mad for rescuing a pup. He was seen holding the pup in his arms and said, “Paagal bata rahe. Batao main paagal hu ji? Ye kitna accha sundar pilla. Ye bolta nahi hai kuch bhi lekin pyaar itna karta hai (He’s calling me mad. Am I mad? This is such a nice puppy. He says nothing but loves everyone a lot).”

Sharing the video on her Instagram account, Anushka wrote, “Paagal toh woh hain jo insaaniyat nahi samjhein, aap toh… (Mad are those who don’t understand this humanity. You are…)” 

Along with Anushka, others also praised the man in the comments that read, “❤️❤️❤️so true he said”, “So much respect to this man ❤️”, “God. Bless you sir ♥️”, “We need more such people”, “Such a beautiful human???”, “Heartwarming ❤️.”

Meanwhile, in 2020, Anushka Sharma had voiced her support for stricter laws against animal cruelty, she had also started a campaign named, #JusticeForAnimals demanding the amendment of The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. The actress had said in a statement, “I really wish we have stricter laws against animal cruelty and they are exercised and executed in a way that there is fear in people. They shouldn’t be able to think that they can do something like this so easily and can get away with it by paying a small fine.”
