Anushka Sharma reviews Qala after making a cameo, showers praise on Tripti Dimri

Anushka Sharma is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. Anushka recently made a special cameo in Netflix’s Qala. For the uninitiated, Qala is backed by Anushka’s brother, Karnesh Sharma’s production house Clean Slate Filmz. It stars Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan, Tripti Dimri, and Swastika Mukherjee. On Saturday, Anushka took to her Instagram Stories and penned a long note praising Tripti and the team’s performance in the film.

Anushka shared the poster of Qala and wrote, “A daughter’s heartbreaking yearning for her mother’s love. Qala is a work of art. It’s heartbreaking and exhilarating equally. Exhilarating because of the genius of each department that comes through in telling this detailed story and heartbreaking for portraying emotional abuse by an emotionally unstable parent in a way that had never been done before by a film. @Qala streaming now on @netflix_in.”

The actress further tagged Anvita Dutt and wrote, “UFF!! Your storytelling is so true and original, and you telling it like a poet, like a painting! You have detailed this film so excellently!” Further, talking about Tripti, she wrote, “WOW! You are one of the most talented actors of this generation! Your maturity as an actor and innocence as an artist is so rare.”

Anushka added, “@kans26 BRAVO! For always backing the best content truthfully and raising the bar each time!”

Anushka has made a cameo in Qala. Fans loved her short appearance in the film.

The actress is currently busy prepping for her upcoming film, Chakda Xpress. The sports drama is based on the life of women’s cricket fast bowler Jhulan Goswami. It was announced in January this year. For the unversed, Anushka starrer is slated to release on Netflix.
