Anushka Sharma finally breaks her silence on pregnancy rumours

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma believes in calling spade a spade and is a straight shooter. Despite being just 30-years-old, Anushka is at the top of her game and is one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry currently. Anushka, as everyone knows is married to the Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. And ever since their marriage, rumours of Anushka’s pregnancy have been doing the rounds.

The ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ actress without mincing any words rubbished the rumours recently. The diva in an interview to Hindustan Times said, “That is something people will do anyway. It’s completely unnecessary and silly as you ultimately can’t hide such a thing. You can hide a marriage but not pregnancy. People can write nonsense but they will only look foolish after four months as you also need to see it.”

Talking about the rumours the actress further added, “I feel every female actor goes through it, so people marry you off even before you are hitched and make you a mother before you are pregnant. I don’t pay attention to it, and just laugh these things off since I find them hilarious.”

This misogynist and sexist attitude of society that when a woman gets married, she has to get pregnant has to be slammed. Anushka Sharma has never bowed down to any pressure and has always lived life on her own terms. The ‘Pari’ actress in the past has been viciously trolled for Virat’s bad performance on the cricket field. However, she or Virat have never been bogged down by such stupid trolls.

On the work front, Anushka is awaiting her next release ‘Zero’, in which she is playing a differently-abled character. The drama also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in leading roles. The film is scheduled to release on December 21, 2018.
