The leading ladies of today have proven that their marital or parental status doesn’t define their talent and abilities. And one such hard-working and path-breaking woman is Anushka Sharma. The actress has always carried herself beautifully in each phase of her life and after taking some time off to embrace motherhood with daughter Vamika Kohli, she is set to make a return to films as well.

Earlier this year, Anushka Sharma had took to social media to announce that she is returning to work after almost four years with the sports drama Chakda Xpress, which is based on the life of Indian women cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The actress will be stepping in her shoes for the film. While she was raring to go to work after all this while, in a recent interview with a magazine, the actress insisted that people don’t understand the psyche of working moms. “I don’t think people understand the life and emotions of a working mother because the world is male dominated,” she said.

The actress went on to add that becoming a mother has given her a new perspective towards woman and womanhood. “Heck, I’m a woman; even I didn’t understand it till I became a mother. Today, I have so much more respect and love for women, and such a strong sense of sisterhood. I’ve always spoken up for women, but to feel love and compassion for the cause makes it so much more powerful,” she stated proudly.
Anushka is married to cricketer Virat Kohli and is mother to their daughter Vamika, and her family moments on social media are just too sweet. She is a doting mother and now, she is all set to shine again on the screen with Chakda Xpress, which will stream on Netflix.
