Actor Anushka Sharma is celebrating her fifth wedding anniversary with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli today, December 11. To mark this special day, Anushka took to her Instagram and dropped a few pictures which are simply adorable. However, among many, one photo caught our attention and that was Virat sleeping on a hospital bed after Anushka delivered their daughter Vamika.

In the picture, we saw Virat in deep sleep, next to his daughter Vamika. The picture was clicked after the actor’s delivery in a Mumbai hospital. The little munchkin’s face is covered with an emoji as the couple maintains privacy. 

Sharing the post, Anushka explained her thoughts behind each photo. She wrote, “What better day than today to post these lovely pictures to celebrate us, my love! Pic 1 – me knowing you’ve always got my back Pic 2- forever holding gratitude in our hearts ( both getting incredibly lucky) Pic 3 – You resting on hospital bed a day-after my long and painful labour Pic 4 – Us keeping fine taste in things Pic 5- some random fellow Pic 6- you making most of my photos un-post-able with ur unique expressions. Pic 7- CHEERS TO US, MY LOVE TODAY, TOMORROW & FOREVER.”

Responding to the post, Kohli dropped a hilarious reply saying, “You definitely have the best photos of me” He also wrote, “My love”.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married in a private ceremony at Italy’s Lake Como on 11 December 2017. They became parents in 2021 with a daughter named Vamika. 

On her professional front, Anushka Sharma will be next seen in a biopic of Jhulan Goswami. She will be playing the titular role in Chakda Xpress which will be streaming on Netflix. For the role, she was seen playing cricket in Eden Garden in Kolkata as well as in Lords in London.
