Anushka Sharma stands up for Zareen Khan in stretch marks controversy; calls her ‘beautiful, brave and strong’

A couple of days back Zareen Khan posted a few pictures of her from her visit to Udaipur. She was in a white crop top and a pair of black trousers. In the pictures a part of her stomach showed the stretch marks. The moment she posted the pictures, a section of people started trolling the actress left, right and centre for her stretch marks. While some called her ‘old’, some commented ‘so weird stomach’.

Zareen’s fans lauded her for posting the pictures without photoshopping. Also, Anushka Sharma came forward to support Zareen. Taking to her Instagram story, Anushka wrote, “Zareen, you’re beautiful, brave and strong just the way you are.”

Also, Zareen had shut down the trollers with a befitting reply. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared two posts. In one post, she wrote, “For people who are very curious to know about what’s wrong with my stomach, this is the natural stomach of a person who’s lost more than 50 Kg of weight. This is how it looks when it is not photoshopped or surgically corrected. I’ve always been someone who believes in being real and embraced my imperfections with pride rather than covering it up.”

Zareen also posted a few lines from Paul Weller’s motivational song ‘Wild Wood’. “Don’t let them get you down, making you feel guilty about. Golden rain will bring you riches. All the good things you deserve and now”, she captioned alongside a picture of her.
