Anushka Sharma steps down as a producer, decides to dedicate her time to her ‘first love’

Actor Anushka Sharma who entered Bollywood with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi along with Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for a biopic on Jhulan Goswami, Chakda Xpress. However, during her filmy career, she became a producer by launching her production venture Clean State Films. The first film that she produced was NH10 which garnered a good response from the fans. Since then she and her brother Karnesh Ssharma have been producing good content like Pataal Lok, Bulbbul and more. However, Anushka has now decided to step away from CSF and wants to dedicate her time to her first love.

Well, her first love is nothing but acting. Announcing that she is going to step down as a producer, Anushka took to her Instagram and dropped an official statement saying how she and her brother started this venture. She also mentioned that now that she has become a mother who has chosen to be an actor by profession is striking a balance like never before. However, the Zero actor feels that whatever time she has at hand, she wants to focus on acting.

Anushka wrote on her note, “When I started Clean State Filmz with my brother Karnesh Ssharma, we were novices when it came to production but we had a fire in our belly and we wanted to try and set the agenda of entertainment in India through clutter-breaking content. Today, when I look back at our journey so far, I’m deeply proud of what we have created and the disruption that we have managed to achieve. While CSF started with my vision to change the narrative of what commercial projects should be like, I have to credit Karnesh who has excelled in shaping what CSF has become today. Being a new mother who has chosen to be an actor by profession, I have to balance my life in an entirely new fashion like never before. So, I have decided that whatever time I have at hand, I will dedicate it to my first love, acting! Therefore, I have decided to step away from CSF, confident that the most able person, Karnesh, is taking forward the vision with which it was created in the first place.”

After Zero (2018), Anushka was away from movies and enjoying her motherhood phase. However, she is making her comeback with Chakda Xpress.
