Anushka Sharma takes an androgynous route on the latest cover of ELLE!

Anushka Sharma’s alluring beauty and boldness have always been the most amazing qualities of the actress. From being a delicate woman of worth to being a total badass, Anushka has shown us all sides of her, which has led us to believe that she is in fact, a woman of substance. From owning a production house to have worked with all the three Khans from the industry, Anushka is surely a headstrong, sexy and a damn talented actress. But looks like acting is not the only thing that has her full attention. As recently, Anushka posed as the cover girl for the August issue of Elle magazine and she is looking bossy and totally amazing.

Photographed by Tibi Clenci and seen sitting on a chair, Anushka’s androgynous look with a blend of her no-holds-barred attitude is totally kickass. Further, donning a Michael Kors pantsuit clasped by a belt along with Chanel jewellery, Anushka is seen ditching the typical stilettos for those sexy looking boots from 3.1 Phillip Lim. Going for a minimal makeup game of defined strong eyebrows, nude lips and a chic hairdo, Anushka spells extraordinary on the cover. Kudos to the hairstylist (Yianni Tsapatori ) and makeup artist (Subbu) for their stunning work!

Also, the official Instagram page of the magazine shared the cover picture and captioned it as “On our #August cover: Bawse lady @anushkasharma is completely in control. Plus, our Elle Active special will make you fitter, stronger and faster than ever before. You cannot miss this one!”

Verdict– Breaking the stereotypical idea of ‘a women should dress like a women’, Anushka’s boyish avatar on the mag’s cover is like a breath of fresh air in our stereotypical society. From her supreme choice of ensemble to her on-point makeup, the quintessential outsider, Anushka Sharma has delivered a hit pose on this month’s issue of Elle magazine. Lastly, without any skin show, Anushka is throwing a powerful and sexy attitude and needless to say, we are quite intrigued. Style score- 4.5/5!
