Anushka Sharma gets into the shoes of Jhulan Goswami as she drops a new still from Chakda Xpress

Anushka Sharma is currently busy prepping for her upcoming film Chakda Xpress. Anushka will be playing the role of Jhulan Goswami in the biopic. The actress has been sharing BTS pictures and leaving fans excited. On Tuesday, Anushka shared a new still from Chakda Xpress.

The picture shared by Anushka shows her sitting sitting on the bed, holding a shoe in her hand as she talks to someone on the phone. There is another woman in the background. Anushka shared the pic and wrote, “Getting into her shoes and recreating the journey! #ChakdaXpressOnNetflix.”

Reacting to the post, Dia Mirza dropped a heart emoji. Fans too reacted to the post. A fan commented, “The joy. The relief. That smile has it all! @anushkasharma.” Another fan commented, “Lovely pic.”

Anushka Sharma announced Chakda Xpress in January this year. A part of her caption reads, “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”

Anushka is currently in the UK. The actress recently shared loved filled pics with husband Virat Kohli. Anushka and Virat are couple goals. They have a daughter named Vamika.
