Apart from Salman and Katrina, Akshay too will be a part of IFFI closing ceremony

We were the ones to tell you that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif would bring an end to this year’s International Film Festival of India that is taking place in Goa currently. And here’s someone who is going to join them at the event. As per the reports, Akshay Kumar too is going to be a part of the closing ceremony of IFFI, 2017.

Akshay Kumar, who won the National Award this year for his films ‘Airlift’ and ‘Rustom’, is going to be the Guest of Honour at the closing ceremony of this extravagant film festival. Elated with this honour, Akshay says, “IFFI 2017 has truly left a mark and presented cinema lovers with the best in national and international cinema. I look forward to attending the closing and bidding farewell to our guests from around the world.”

Not just this, apparently something grand has been planned for the last day of IFFI. If sources are to be believed then it is going to be a special day of this film festival. With this news, we wonder whether Akshay Kumar is going to launch the trailer of his upcoming film ‘PadMan’ at IFFI. He had launched the poster yesterday and we are now desperately awaiting the trailer. With film slated to release in the month of January, we can expect the trailer to be out soon. Otherwise, we can expect one grand performance by Salman and Katrina at the event as they would also be promoting their upcoming film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ at the event. The opening ceremony saw Shah Rukh Khan giving a fabulous start to the festival. We remember the junglee dance that SRK pulled on Kailash Kher’s song. Sridevi, her daughter Janhvi Kapoor, husband Boney Kapoor and many other celebs were are part of the inauguration ceremony.
