AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija Rahman gets engaged in a private ceremony, See pics

AR Rahman is a proud father as he announced the engagement of his daughter Khatija Rahman on social media. The music maestro shared pictures from his daughter’s engagement ceremony and it is heart-melting. Khatija Rahman got engaged to Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed who is an ‘aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer’.

In the pictures, Khatija was seen wearing a beautiful pink ethnic outfit that had colourful embroidery on it. Keeping the Covid guidelines in mind, Rahman had a matching mask on as well as she posed for the pictures.

Sharing the pictures on her Instagram account, Khatija wrote in the caption, “With the blessings of the Almighty I’m happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed @riyasdeenriyan, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer. The engagement happened on 29th December, my birthday in the presence of close family and loved ones.(sic)”

AR Rahman also shared the news on his Instagram stories.

Singer Harshdeep Kaur took to the comments and congratulating the couple she wrote, “Congratulations to the both of you ? God Bless!!.” Shweta Pandit wrote, “Little baby girl is all set to walk the aisle. So happy for you @khatija.rahman.” Neeti Mohan wrote, “Many many congratulations. This is such a wonderful moment. @khatija.rahman @riyasdeenriyan.” Sreekanth Hariharan wrote, “Heartiest congratulations @khatija.rahman & @riyasdeenriyan !!”

Khatija had performed with father AR Rahman during Mumbai’s U2 concert in 2019. She had also lent her voice to the song Rock A Bye Baby from the Netflix film Mimi which was much loved.
