Aranyak star Ranveena Tandon talks about content being ‘king’

Raveena Tandon is all set to own the digital space with her next Netflix show titled Aranyak. Raveena will be seen playing the character of Kasturi Dogra in Aranyak who is a police officer entangled in politics, personal agendas and the myth of a murderous entity. Talking about her role in Aranyak, Raveena Tandon was seen praising the importance of content these days. At the trailer launch of the Netflix show, Raveena was seen with Ashutosh Rana and the rest of the cast.

Talking about the content being king, Raveena told the media, “It is not something that is now new to behold. I think content has always been king, and that has been proved again and again. What I feel, it is not the star or the star face or the star value, it is the characters and content that make any show very powerful and very gripping to watch.”

She further added, “I am Kasturi Dogra right now, but it could have been not Raveena Tandon playing this, it could have been anyone else playing that. Kasturi Dogra in itself is so strong that she would reach out to you anyhow.”

Produced by Roy Kapur Films and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment, Aranyak is helmed by Rohan Sippy as the showrunner and the show is directed by Vinay Waikul. Parambrata Chatterjee, Ashutosh Rana, Meghna Malik, Zakir Hussain, and Indraneil Sengupta also star in the show.
