If sources are to be believed, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is keen on making a biopic and reportedly the makers have locked on a story which Karan Johar’s company will be seen producing. Reportedly, Dharma Productions will be making a movie based on the life of controversial spiritual guru Acharya Rajneesh, popularly known as Osho and the makers are in talks with ‘Padmaavat’ actor Ranveer Singh for the titular role. The film will be directed by Shakun Batra whose last release was ‘Kapoor and Sons (Since 1921)’
Talking about Osho, the spiritual guru had a huge impact on the minds and hearts of people across the world in the 1970’s. Osho was religiously followed by Bollywood celebrities like Mahesh Bhatt, Parveen Babi and Vinod Khanna.
Well looks like, Karan Johar who’s always known to surprise us with his ventures surely plans to team up with Ranveer Singh and give us a good movie. Of course, it’ll be interesting to see Ranveer as Osho, after his ferocious avatar of Khilji in ‘Padmaavat’.
