‘Arey Pyaar Kar Le’ Song: Ayushmann Khurrana brings the disco era back with the remix version of Bappi Lahiri’s hit number

The makers of ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ have released yet another song ‘Arey Pyaar Kar Le’ from the movie. It is the remix of the old song from the movie ‘Saaheb’ (1985) that starred Anil Kapoor and Amrita Singh. The iconic song was sung by Bappi Lahiri.

The new version is crooned by Bappi Lahiri and Ayushmann Khurrana and the music is recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. The rap is written and performed by Ikka. From the video, it seems to be the closing song of the movie. The song features the entire cast including Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta. Everyone is seen in bling outfits and Bappi Lahiri also has a special appearance in it.

This recreated version is a delight to hear as it a peppy number and will make you groove to the tunes.

As reported by Hindustan Times, while talking about the song, Ayushmann said, “I’ve been a huge fan of the song as it’s a cult number. Anil Kapoor sir and Amrita ma’am looked really cute in the video. I’ve danced on the number as a kid. The best part is that the choreographer of the remixed song is Vijay Ganguly, the son of Anil Ganguly sir who directed the original film. It’s like life coming full circle.”

Talking about ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’, the movie is about same-sex love. It will be interesting to watch this kind of film, isn’t it?

Produced by Aanand L. Rai and Bhushan Kumar, the film is slated to hit the theatres on February 21.
